More Signs of Fascism · Dec 20, 05:54 PM

The FCC recently voted against the will of the people to allow their monied friends to own a bigger slice of the media pie in the largest 20 cities.

This is becoming a trend.

At least some are fighting valiantly against this idiocy:

“The FCC has never attempted such a brazen act of defiance against Congress,” said Democratic Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein. “The law does not say we are to serve those who seek to profit by using the public airwaves.

“The law says we are to serve the public interest,” Adelstein continued. “And the public has repeatedly told us they are not interested in further media consolidation.” — FCC votes to ease media ownership restrictions

Gosh, who is this Adelstein guy anyway? Imagine the shame of having to stand up in public and fight for the will of the people. He must feel small. Everyone knows the will of the corporation is King.

This guy better watch out. What does he think this is, a Democracy?
